"Help to Buy was the easiest part of the buying process!"

David

"It was so easy and professional. I have been telling all of my friends about the scheme and they're using it too!"

We went to catch up with David, who has recently used Help to Buy to purchase his brand new apartment in Leeds.

“I’d been renting for a few months before buying this place. I didn’t do much looking round, I saw these apartments were available and thought they looked ideal for me.”

It was some friends of David who first introduced him to the Taylor Wimpey development, and straight away he knew this was where he wanted to set up home.

“I didn’t actually know about the Help to Buy scheme at first. It was the sales advisor at the show home who talked me through it. As soon as I found out I was eligible, it was a no brainer, I applied immediately.”

“The process was the least stressful thing ever. I didn’t even need to speak to the customer service team because everything was so easy. I filled out the application form and that was it!"

"They always say buying your first home is the most stressful thing in the world, but Help to Buy made it so much less stressful. Knowing I only had to pay a 5% deposit put me in a really comfortable position."

"It was so easy and professional. I have been telling all of my friends about the scheme and they're using it too! The 5 year gap before paying off the loan means you can live comfortably and save up to pay it off. I'd reccomend the scheme to anyone wanting to step onto the property ladder."
