Last chance to buy at The Woodlands, Story Homes’ first North East development

May 2018

Only a few homes remain at The Woodlands – Story Homes’ first development in the North East – with Help to Buy available.

Having launched in 2012, The Woodlands at Shotley Bridge is one of the housebuilder’s largest developments in the region and is now rapidly nearing completion. Almost all of the 240 high specification homes have been sold, with a small number of properties remaining on the fourth and final phase.
The quality of the homes on the development have been recognised by the Insider North East Property Awards, UK Property Awards and LABC Awards over the last few years. The development’s commitment to sustainability principles has also been rewarded. Homes at The Woodlands are built to meet Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes – a high benchmark for developers. They also meet Lifetime Homes design requirements and have been awarded the Secured by Design award for safety. There are currently three homes for sale with Help to Buy available at The Woodlands: the Rockcliffe and Wallington house types, which benefit from three bedrooms, spacious living areas and many extras included as standard.

Lyndsey Walton, Sales Manager at Story Homes, said: “Our most recent aerial images of the site demonstrate how close to completion this development is, and also show the attractive street scenes, the landscaping on site and the views across the Derwent Valley that residents benefit from.

“The semi-rural location and good transport links have proved appealing to customers, including many first-time buyers, and with most properties now occupied there is a thriving community on the development. With just a few homes left and Help to Buy available on these plots, we are looking forward to seeing the final homes at The Woodlands reserved and the final residents moving in.”
