In Focus: Rotherham

July 2016

Our In Focus this month is the South Yorkshire town of Rotherham.

Mixing a fantastic blend of heritage and modernisation, the area has seen a major regeneration in recent years, upgrading the centre of the town with new shops, apartments, cafes and attractions.

Its close proximity to Sheffield gives you fantastic access to its national and regional transport links, whilst Meadowhall is only a 10-minute drive away.

Despite the draw of Sheffield, there are plenty of attractions in Rotherham to keep you occupied with the Magna Science Adventure Centre, Roche Abbey and the famous Clifton Park, all of which are available to explore.

Like the rest of Yorkshire, the town is surrounded by beautiful countryside with the picturesque Rother Country Valley Park, the perfect destination for a family day out.

It's no surprise that the regeneration of the town has seen more homeowners purchasing properties in the area, with Help to Buy becoming increasingly popular in the town.

The Help to Buy scheme offers buyers a 5 year interest free 20% equity loan on the value of a property and with only a 5% deposit, there's no better time to make the move.

We've listed some of the developments available this month on the Help to Buy scheme;
